The functional trainer is by far the most versatile and widely used piece of equipment in the industry. It is a commercial-grade unit consisting of 198-pound dual weight stacks.
This functional trainer is solidly constructed with industrial grade strength 11 gauge steel throughout. The pulley system provides an extremely smooth glide up and down. It is a quick-adjust pulley system with 11 different adjustment slots. You are also able to perform pull-ups and chin-ups with the pull-up bar. Also comes with a pair of D-grip handles. Does not come with any other attachments pictured.

#1 Fray as a company is awesome, had some issues with the "Freight Company" but Fray was all over them and very supportive of me during the shipping/receiving of the equipment.
The piece comes in a crate, in sections, each section is individually wrapped inside the crate which is awesome for saving dents/dings/scratches during transport. unboxing/unwrapping the unit is probably the "most difficult" part of assembly. (which was not hard) I laid all the pieces out, stood up the 2 sides, connected the crossmembers and tightened down (as is anything else, do not tighten until all pieces are on.) Tighten once assembled and then load your plates onto machine. Simple as that. tighten bolts in guide rods and you're good. You can also adjust tension/slack in cable to your liking. (Very easy to assemble and I did it alone.)
Functionality & use: awesome piece! love the versatility of exercises that can be done. fully adjustable top and bottom cables. adjustments & weights both slide up and down smoothly. All that I could ask for in a functional trainer and trust me you CANNOT beat this price for what you get.

The delivery process was a little rough in that they sent one guy to get it off a semi truck. Luckily my husband was there to help or it would have been impossible. The only other complaint is that the pieces are full of metal shavings where holes are drilled which makes a huge mess when putting it together.
Now, I absolutely love this piece of equipment. It is solid and fairly easy to put together. Shipping was fast and after ordering it on a Thursday, I've already used it for workouts on Saturday and Sunday. Overall, will order again.

Greetings fellow review readers! I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the $ to buy a functional trainer, but as a middle age out of shape father, I knew I needed to invest in myself. I looked all over the Internet for months, but kept coming back to Fray Fitness since they had a great price and 198lb stacks.
Well, I took the leap and I just got my functional trainer today. Being the exact opposite of a handy man I was nervous when I opened the box. Thankfully Team Fray had me covered. The instructional video guided me step by step and with a little help from my wife we had it put together in no time.
I quickly realized I'm not in my 20s anymore and it looks like I will have plenty of time to work my way down the weight stack, but I'm excited for the adventure!

I like so many had been eyeing this right at the beginning of the lockdowns March 2020. Once I saw the price climb $100, I ordered. It took about 6 weeks to arrive via freight. The frieght company does reach out to schedule delivery. It arrived on a long pallet partially assembled. My husband and I put it together. Pieces are heavy (weighs about 1k lbs) and I was six weeks post op of major abdominal surgery and still managed to put this together. After lubrication of the rails and buying additional handles/adapters, this is a very solid piece. I would say comparable to commercial gyms. I definitely get the same workout I would at a commercial gym.
