This Fray Fitness Savage Series foldback wall-mount rack is built the toughest they come. It is 3" x 3" steel tubing with industrial-grade strength 11 gauge steel. We also use the gigantic 1" hardware. Laser-cut numbers with laser-cut logo. It can fold inward as well as outward. You get pure power with this bad boy. No other rack on the market can come close to this quality/price combination. Optional pictured stringers with laser-cut logo give this an amazing look as well as simplicity installing.
****This rack comes exactly as pictured with all included except the stringers****
Decent, But Could Improve, January 16, 2023 By Chris Heesch(Verified)
I got this rack on a 50% off sale after Christmas, so for that kind of money, I'm very happy. At full price, I'm not quite sure. Its a very solid, sturdy, well built rack, and certainly does its job. There's just a few details that would have me shopping around at full price, though. Personally, I think the 1" hardware is overkill, and limits any aftermarket purchases you might make. Also make sure you have big enough tools to put it together- I had to get out my very largest crescent wrenches and I'm willing to bet there's a lot of folks that don't have big enough tools to put those bolts together! The pullup bar has no knurling or texture- its a very slick painted surface (think like playground equipment) - I would much prefer the bar was knurled or had a rougher type powder coat for some grip. Lastly, partially because of the monster 1" hardware, you can't adjust the pullup bar height down where the support meets, which is exactly where I might want it. I'll also mention it comes with basically worthless installation instructions. The positives are its very solid when folded out, with minimal movement and I expect it will last longer than my body ever will.
